SOPHISTICATED MODERN OFFICE & RETAIL IN MILWAUKEE’S HISTORIC FINANCIAL DISTRICT

THE HISTORY

The Huron Building is located in the heart of Milwaukee’s Historic Financial District, also known as the Hi Fi District-- the center of early Milwaukee’s business and financial activity, and the heartbeat of the economy before Milwaukee was even a formalized city.

The Hi Fi District represents a historically and architecturally significant group of commercial activity between the years of 1856 - 1900, where wholesaling, banking, insurance and manufacturing drove the city’s growth. The district features architecture by locally and nationally renowned architects, and a distinctly rich history related to women’s suffrage, the arts, and the indigenous people who first settled here.

Today, the district remains a growing center of commerce and culture. Completed in 2020, the Huron Building’s commitment to elevating the Hi Fi District is apparent. Its design, scale and materials keep with tradition, standing out as contemporary, but not out of place.

Huron reflects this commitment to our city, our local clients and our continued enthusiasm for Milwaukee’s robust Third Ward and downtown.”
